Interesting article over at Sloofirpacenter the center which studies long tail profitability they warn publishers and blog owners that google adsense code contains some serious vulnerabilities which could compromise your ability to earn maxime advertising revenue
They dont really go into details about what this vulnerability is but they advise people to keep there adsense code in place, they also mention valueclick, tribal fusion, yahoo publisher network and burst media are others that have severe vulnerabilty.
Looking at this further though you see that this all seems to be a marketing ploy through a press release for a new service that will be available called ContextWeb where they will offer a similar advertising option for publishers where you pick the CPM you want.
Great way to create controversy and get people signing up to your advertising network
