Interestin peice over at Jensense saying that adsense apparently is paying publishers 78.5 cents on the dollar she got the information from the New York Times, it says “Google.com and the company’s foreign search sites contribute more to Google’s bottom line than AdSense, because for every dollar the company brings in through AdSense and other places that distribute its ads, it pays roughly 78.5 cents back to sites like Digital Point that display the ad

On the Searchenginewatch board jenstar who is from jensense had some feedback for a guy who was talking about filtering out ads  she said ” You need to be careful because you can reduce your earnings by filtering ads. On every page view, AdSense is going to show the ads worth the most money. When you block each one, then lower paying ads will appear in its place.

You also have to keep in mind that you could be blocking high paying and performing ads when you block an ad, since most advertisers advertise for more than one ad and keyword than the one that happened to trigger the ad you are seeing and blocking. They could also be advertising something they are willing to pay much higher CPC for. Read the whole thing here
